SE Quirke Ltd Contract Carpets has expertly installed Altro Wood™ Bavarian Oak in St. Josephs Residential Care Home located in Shankill.
The subfloor was thoroughly prepared before adding the floor covering.
ROMUS Cove Former 38 X 38 – 2189 was efficiently utilized to accentuate the floor settling into the curve of the wall. To give a complete look and finish to the top of this high-quality floor covering, GENESIS KCS022 P.V.C Edge Capping Strip in Dolphin Grey was added along the wall.
Altro Wood™ is an attractive, general-purpose 2mm wood-effect vinyl safety flooring. It has a slip resistance rating of R10. The product achieves a PTV ≥ 36 on the pendulum test giving sustained slip resistance throughout the lifetime of the product.

GENESIS KCS022 – P.V.C Edge Cap Strip is a flexible PVC capping seal used to finish the top of a resilient floor covering where it has been coved up the wall. Capping seals are usually used in conjunction with a cover former.

ROMUS Cove Former 38 X 38 – 2189 is a crucial element in floor fitting for many contractors.
It slots into the angle under the floor covering between the floor and the wall and, once installed with the covering, creates a rounded shape that prevents particles or bacteria from stagnating. It also facilitates easy cleaning of the floor and wall junction and reduces the risk of covering breakage.
Capping seals, usually used with cover formers, are flexible PVC cap strips used to finish the top of a resilient floor covering that has been coved up the wall.
